WELCOME TO THE 39TH ANNUAL 4WD CORROBOREE WEBSITE
The Queensland 4×4 Club and 4WD Queensland would like to welcome all affiliated clubs, members, and club registered visitors to the 2019 4WD Corroboree to be held in October 2019 over the long weekend.
The 2019 Corroboree will be held at Blackbutt Queensland just a short 2 hours drive west of Brisbane.
The 4WD Queensland Corroboree is held annually over a long weekend and is open to all Four Wheel Drive Queensland Association affiliated clubs and their members. It is an opportunity for all member clubs to come together to meet and report on their activities for the year.
The Corroboree is about exchanging ideas and a chance for clubs to get together, enjoy trips of a local area, with a mix of easy to medium and hard trips, lasting no longer than 4 to 5 hours at a time. Over the weekend there are many other activities including: the association country meeting, entertainment, kids activities, local attractions, raffle draws and more.
THANK YOU TO OUR SPONSORS
This event would not take place if it wasn’t for our generous sponsors who have donated cash, prizes or their services towards the Corroboree. Be sure to show your appreciation by visiting our sponsors, liking their social media pages.
The 2019 Platinum Sponsor is Waterstop Streamline who have been very generous in their support with cash towards the running of the Corroboree and prize donations.
SUPPORTING THOSE IN NEED
When the Queensland 4×4 Club put their collective hands up to host the 2019 4WD QLD Corroboree they also made the decision to give back to some worthy causes. Choosing charities to support was not a hard decision to make as in 2018 the club had donated financial assistance to the Drought Angels and we knew we wanted to continue this support. The club has a number of members who are ex-serving Australian Defence Force personnel so we chose Mates4Mates as the second charity to support.
As part of our support the QLD 4×4 Club will also be donating financial assistance to some of the local charities within the Blackbutt community.
Mates4Mates is recognised nationally for providing the most progressive, integrated support programs in the country, which help rebuild and save lives.
Who are ‘Mates’? – wounded, injured or ill current or ex-servicing Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel. Mates4Mates also help and support the families of mates.
Mates4Mates provide the following – Physical Rehabilitation & Wellbeing Services / Psychological Services / Employment & Education Support Services / Rehabilitation Adventure Challenges / Social Connection Activities

Drought Angels is a small charity run by big hearts, who offer a listening ear, a warm hug and personalised support given to each family. They like to tell our farmers that this is not a handout but a Thank You.
“Thank you for all you do to put the food on our tables because without you we would all go hungry”.
They also help those who would not normally reach out but prefer to battle it alone, which can lead to severe depression and in some cases suicide. One-on-one support aides in ‘breaking down the barriers’ of a proud demographic who quite often have never received a hand up.

An exciting part about the QLD 4WD Corroboree’s is the ability to drive on tracks that you may not have driven before or normally have access to.
For the Kids
There will be activities to entertain the kids over the weekend.
Don’t worry we have made arrangements and the NRL Football Finals will be on telecast for those who want to watch it.
If would like to take the whole weekend off then you can pre purchase catered meals. This year the Lions Club.
